Autonomy as a third mode of ordering: Agriculture and the Kurdish movement in Rojava and North and East Syria

While the fight of Kurdish movement against Islamic State (IS) received much coverage, almost no attention was or has been given to reconstruction efforts Rojava after its liberation from Ba′ath regime and defeat caliphate, let alone political principles underlying agrarian economy. This contribution discusses agricultural policy in perspective autonomy. It focuses on ways which autonomy as a mode ordering interrupts by state capital. Moreover, article will show how this third ordering, autonomy, produces alternatives for economy Syria state's organization production markets had become vehicles de-development dispossession, demographic engineering, cultural homogenization.
